I was seriously drawn into The Safe Place just by the cover alone and was not disappointed at all by synopsis. This is one of the rare times that I wish that the first impression was much longer than 27 pages. I love the mystery and the suspense of this story. I really wish that there was more to this story for sure. How can the no phones, no outsiders, and no escape not draw you in to figure out is going to happen?
