Wow! Love the writing style -- really kept me engaged with the emerging story. Also fell in with the characters I was introduced to in these few chapters. Emily sounds so much like me and, because of this, someone I could relate to immediately. I immediately checked to see if Emily Downes, the author, had written any other books, but found she had not. And to have to wait until July 2020 for this book to be published feels so cruel! I love twisty thrillers, and this one is going on the top of my TBR list! I would give 5 stars for my First Look rating, but will need to read the rest of the book before I can do that.
