Love the protagonist
Emily is instantly likable because she is so clueless and scatterbrained. She doesn't understand why adult activities, such as keeping a job and paying bills, confuses her and seems unreachable. Scott, on the other hand, is a successful CEO who knows what he wants and then makes that desire materialize. He is also the one who fires Emily. For what, the reader doesn't know.
I like that this is a character-centered story rather than describing the background.
