Emily is a mess, but she is also too cliche. Beautiful aspiring actress gets fired from her temp job and the man who fired her is planning on killing her or something bad. The first few chapters nor the character of Emily draw me in. Sometimes it takes more time for a book to develop a good plot and it seems that this one is a little slower, but has potential. The cover art is pretty. I would want to read more of this book if there was deeper character development with Emily and if there was a plot twist you didn't see coming. Hopefully this is the case.
