I immediately liked the main character Emily and her situation reminds me of the traditional underdog, which I love to root for. I know something mysterious is going to happen to her and I am intrigued to find out how she handles herself and gets through whatever it is. I have a feeling she will not disappoint and will come out on top. I also enjoyed the style of writing the author uses going from one character's point of view to another's. I can't wait to see how this story turns out.
