This excerpt held a lot of energy. It felt faced paced to me, like you could feel a plan formulating for one of the characters.
Emily had an office job until she lost it for continually being late. She’s trying to become a full time actress. She’s behind on her rent, her account is over drafted and she keeps asking her parents for money. Sadly, she seems like she only talks to her parents when she needs money.
Meanwhile, Scott is working in an office at the job she just lost. He’s clearly spent time watching Emily. He’s cyber stalking her. He’s the reason she lost her job. And he has some plan, now that she’s without a job.
He totally creeped me out already during this excerpt.
