This got off to a good start. Emily was easy to empathize with in a pitying sort of way, Scott seems like bad news, and I am definitely hooked and looking forward to seeing what secrets come out. I wish the cover communicated a bit more of what the book was about. It looks like a beach read when it doesn't seem like it will be.
