The Safe Place sounds like a book about anything but...However, that's just going by the synopsis. I found Emily to be a likable character. Her character seems to be someone that we can recognize. Whereas Scott seems stalker-ish, strange, and really makes me wonder what it is that he's up to where she is concerned.
