This book gives me great Gothic Horror vibes; amazing home, mysterious family secret, and innocent protagonist sets the stage for what is going to be a fun suspense novel. I will say that the failed actress stick is somewhat overdone for me at this point but otherwise I think this will be a perfect summer read for thriller fans.
