Overall, the book was a bit tough for me to get through. Not only was the storyline confusing at times, but the pace changed rather drastically throughout where it felt super slow than almost too fast. This book definitely has a lot of moving pieces to it, and unfortunately they didn't all click into place for me.
The story was interesting but in general the pacing could have been fleshed out a bit better so it didn’t feel like it went from super slow to what felt like a 2 page wrap up at the end. I think there are many who will enjoy this story and won't have issues with the pacing. I tend to have a more difficult time getting through slower paced books though which is why I struggled to get through the story.
