The Barclay’s are an upper class white family whose fortune is rapidly depleting. The first half of this character-driven story focuses on August Sitwell who has worked for the Barclay family since childhood and he becomes the face of the ‘Rib King’ sauce. The second half focuses on Jennie Williams who worked as a maid for the Barclay’s and is an entrepreneur.
