The cover is so artistic and gorgeous! But the plot has my mouth dropping to my knees. Poor August and Miss Mamie! I think it's important for us to educate ourselves about BIPOC and this novel is certainly a stepping stone for that, be it fiction or not. I cannot wait to read this novel and most assuredly fall in love with the characters and weep.
