The Rib King is much different than the books I usually read. however I was pulled in from the first page. The way Hubbard writes I can practically feel the humid Southern air, hear the buzz of the new-fangled electric lights in the Barclay's house and hear the 3 orphan boys reading and talking clandestinely in the cellar.
