When I first read the blurb, my first thought was of the white people making a fuss over the Aunt Jemima and Land o Lakes changes. As I read further, I became more and more convinced it is something we (to be clear I am white) need to be reading currently. Even if it’s fiction, it’s still something highly relevant to conversations of today and seems like a wonderful way to help open up a real world discussion on our exploitation of others.
