Incredibly well written and engaging story
Even though this is a fictional story, I am struck by the importance and gravity of the topics, messages, and themes. All of the scenes are riddled with meaning. For example, Mr. Sitwell not being able to read is so much more than just his literacy level: it signifies the disadvantages, discrimination, and everything else that resulted in his inability to read. The story is so rich with these types of nuances and meanings that it elevated my reading experience. I want to keep reading more!
