Wow. This first look blew me away. August is an orphan who was taken in to work for the Barclays family. When the Barclays are broke the father decided to sell their cooks delicious bbq sauce with August’s picture in the bottle. He gives them none of the money earned and August is first resentful and then understandably furious. I can’t wait to read more.
