Loved this story! I right away fell in love with Doris and I couldn't wait for her life to be revealed as the story progressed. It was unveiled at a perfect pace. There weren't times when I wanted it to move along faster. Doris was a strong woman and I like that she continued to be so even as she aged. Often older characters are seen as feeble and needy. Not this lady! Her life was interesting and I enjoyed the concept of her describing the stories of the people in her Red Address Book. I wish I could look back at a list of all the people in my life and reflect on how they impacted my life. The characters were well developed and I could easily visualize this story. It would make a great movie.
