I am always attracted to a book by its cover. This book is a perfect example. I kept an address book for years. I recall when I was writing holiday cards, first I would go through the book to update new information. Then I would find myself lingering over those that had passed during the previous year. I would always try to remember each person for a few minutes. I would either try to recall the last time I saw/talked with the person or a special memory of him or her. It just seemed so appropriate for the holiday season.
