I love the cover of this book. The old black and white photo, the envelopes make you nostalgic about simpler times. The excerpt itself reminded me of A Man Called Ove. Like Ove, Doris has had a tough life and now 96-years-old, Doris is looking back and thinking of people who colored her life.
