I was immediately drawn in by the detail in Doris' world, from the arrangement of her items on the table to her shivering as her food got cold in the microwave. Doris is tired, both mentally and physically, but has a lot on her mind. A lifetime of memories are with her and I can relate to how she revisits them by opening her address book. I keep old calendars for the same reason. A note here or an appointment there can take me back in time. I look forward to reading this book and seeing the journey Doris has taken.
