Oh. My. God. This is the perfect first chapter for a book that is going to be full of so much drama, catty women, and pasts that come up to bite people in the butt. This story has so much packed into the first three pages that I cannot wait to find out what the heck is going on that someone would walk into their own funeral when there is so many women that now know what is going on with the man in their life. I appreciate the situation that Selena found herself in and how that affected the next years of her life. Regrets and second chances are always good foundations for a good romance and The Rancher's Baby is one that is going to take the reader on a ride that has a lot of mixed feeling and miscommunication written all over it.
