A review of Maisey Yates's book "The Rancher's Baby". You only get one chapter as a sneak peek... but it's a harlequin romance, so the rest of the book is pretty formulaic and predictable. I used to read Harlequin a lot in my early twenties, glad to see nothing has changed. Also, only in a Harlequin Romance can the hero be named Knox.

I will say, the first sentence is pretty damn catchy!

So, at the beginning of the first chapter Selena's ex husband is dead, and by the end of the first chapter he's alive at his own funeral. Selena is surrounded by his other wives and baby mamas, all whom he's promised property to.

Not going to lie, I would probably read this. It's just cheesy enough to make it hilarious and enjoyable .
