The chapter started off with Selena at her ex-husband Will's funeral. Then Knox walked in. She had feelings for him too. She couldn't fathom why Will would make her the beneficiary of his will.
I'm not sure what is going as, as I only read the first chapter. But it left me wanting to know more, about Selena and Will, and Selena and Knox. That's the mark of a good book!
Why are there four other women at the funeral who were promised the same thing (being Will's beneficiary)? Selena doesn't need the money, but what about the others?
I'm anxious to know what the history of Selena is with Will, as well as the history of Serena with Knox.
Apparently Knox had married, and had somehow lost a child. I want to know more!
