Has me totally intrigued to read more
Well, the first chapter has me hooked already to read this book from an author that I have not read before. I very much liked the little bit of humour in this chapter even though the characters are at a funeral it gives an insight that there may be a bit more Romcom during this book. The chapter flowed nicely and the descriptive language used had me immersed in the start of this novel.
Selena Jacobs sounds like a very independent young woman that tries to get what she wants but at the same time cares about her friends. I would love to learn what happened to Will and her relationship/ marriage of convenience, as well as Will, presents at his own funeral.
Selena and Knox McCoy connection is already apparent in just this short amount of time and I can feel the heat coming off the author's words. This is a book I would very much like to read and I would recommend it to others.
The cover is a typical romance cover with the two characters on the front I didn't' like the top right-hand side animal skin print I would have prefered the top all the same colour.
