What a great start to what looks like it will be a scintillating and steamy story. Within the first few pages, I was already sympathetic to Selina and curious about the nature of her relationship with Will. I felt like the dynamics were well set up and allowed me to anticipate what interesting surprises might come.
I was genuinely interested in the plot, even after a first look. I don't tend to read romance novels, but I think I will likely pick up a copy of this one, because of the quick pace and witty narration. There was already lots of intrigue, even in the very start of the book. I'm half expecting Will to come back from the dead! (But we shall see).
Overall, an excellent "first read" and I am looking forward to reading the rest of it.
