If we're being entirely honest, I do not do romance, chick lit, yadeeya. That being said, this excerpt cut off and I was totally engaged. But wait, Will walked in? he was supposed to be dead? What were the dynamics between Will, Serena and Knox. How is he her fake ex-husband. Why are there multiple other women who are there thinking they inherited Will’s estate? Even this short excerpt leaves me with so many questions. I am rarely interested in a book that has unnecessary love triangles (what in fact is a necessary love triangle?), however, I can see how this type of book can be appealing. A quick, easy read, I am sure.
The cover art is in no way appealing to me, however, it taking place in Texas can be interesting given it’s my current location.
I will probably not come back for more, however, those that love an easy romance novel, I am sure, will enjoy this book.
