I put off this book for awhile because I was so excited to read it and had to wait for the perfect moment. Wow! What a book. I couldn’t stop reading when I started it. By the end, I encountered that all to familiar feeling.... “there are not enough pages left for what needs to happen”. Why???? That ending left me speechless and very sad. I now need the next book as soon as possible. This slow-burn romance, action packed, fantasy book is the perfect escape and I highly suggest reading it. This book will transport you to another world and you will not be ready to leave. Melissa De La Cruz has written a wonderful book and now I must wait extremely impatiently for the next book to come out into the world.
