I can’t believe I’d never heard of this book before I picked it up while strolling in the bookstore, trying to find anything. The cover looked interesting but I wasn’t expecting something great. But, I am so glad that I was proven wrong. THE QUEENS ASSASSIN is amazing.
Okay, you can call it clique, but the assassin love interest can still be fascinating, in this book, it certainly was used correctly. The author used a trope but made it her own with her great characters and creative plot.
I will always love this book, and I still think about it sometimes. If I do something similar to a certain character, or something reminds me of a quote I found while reading it. That, I believe, is the mark of a great story. It sticks with me and makes an impression.
I am not implying that it is flawless, but it is certainly noteworthy. I hope anyone who reads this review buys this book!
