The description says that if you like Sarah J. Mass' work you will like this, however, I couldn't get past page 10 as this book was very slow and seems very disconnected from the reader.
The first few pages of a book should grab and engage the reader but I felt very disconnected from this and couldn't push past page 10 as I felt no desire to do so. It feels like it would bea very slow book yet the descriptionmade it seem interesting and engaging.
Perhaps this book is for older reader than those of Sarah J. Mass due to it being slower.
Straight away there were names of people and places that were difficult to read and imagine how to pronounce which is perhaps why it did not stand out to me as I had to keep on skimming over some words.
If you prefer slow books then maybe this will be more for you.
