This was a really well done audio book! I thought the cast was perfect for this story. I read a physical copy and listened to the audio book while my hands were busy. The accents used for the audio book really made the story pop for me, so when I read the physical book, I was way more immersed in the world than I had previously been. Some elements of this story were pretty heavily predictable, but I don't feel that it diminished the story in any way. I loved Shadow and Caledon's back-and-forth, their interactions made the romantic build up much more enjoyable than stories where two people just fall into each other's arms. These two fought to get where they were. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to the sequel!
