I had this book on my to read list for forever - and I REALLY wanted to love it... but it was chaotic and not very well thought out as it seems. The Queen's Assassin changes between two perspectives and switches between two very unique POVs - one told in first person and the other in third person. It's really hard to get into a book that changes so often like that. The characters lacked development and I really could care less about either of them. The plot felt like it was over the place. Overall, I really just did not enjoy the book. I wanted to love it and it just seemed like a lack of planning made the plot and characters very boring. I'm sad to say I almost DNF this book because it's a great concept, just poor execution!
