This feels a bit more like 3.75 stars
I rounded the rating up to four stars on here and goodreads because the last hundred or so pages were really good (from what I can remember). I wish the rest of the book was like that. But in reality the rest of the book kinda fell flat for me. I feel like this could have been really good but something was just off or missing. I do not know. I know a lot of people liked this book but it just was not my favorite. Or maybe just not for me. I cannot remember quite how the first book ended but I am sure this means I will read the second book. Even though this one was not my favorite does not mean I will not enjoy the second!! (I am hoping at least LOL).
