Intricate politics set the stage for a phenomenal tale

Wow, I loved how this story started off with a rich history of the fantasy world the author has set! The intricate politics explain the ramifications of previous rulers, explanations for the world divisions, and an overall sense of despair lingering on the horizon. The plot seems well thought out & I know the author will have many nuggets and tie ins throughout the whole story. The compilation thus far demonstrates beautiful artistry from the author, and I'm absolutely hooked on the story line! Would LOVE to win a copy of this book to review. YA fantasy is a favorite genre of mine, and this world building is the definition of enticing!
