My first impression was that this is going to be an action packed read. Assassin's, royalty, magic and lies? Can't get any better than that. I can't wait to see how Caldron and Shadows relationship grow. I am curious to see what binds Cal to the Queen and why he must serve her. I am interested to see how Shadows magic helps her in becoming a part of the Guild and what web of lies will they uncover. The book cover is also very stunning!
