The Queen's Assassin starts out great! The world is well-imagined, and it has a rich history. There are factions that need to be dealt with.
While the worldbuilding is great, the beginning does seem to be a little dense. There's a lot to remember from the first few pages. I would definitely give this book a chance, but if I read more, I hope I wouldn't get confused with all that was initially thrown at the reader.
