I loved how it opened with the history of the world in which the story takes place, it felt like a legend and it really hooked me.
I think the prologue was a bit long, but interesting and the first three chapters were original and incredibly well written.
The writing was very immersive and atmospheric, and the protagonist seems strong and layered, which I love. I think the cover is beautiful, something I would pick up for sure, and the premise of this story is so intriguing that when I finished the excerpt I needed to get my hands on the rest. All in all, seems like it will be a fast paced and action packed story and I can’t wait to see where it goes.
