It's been so long since I was this excited about a first book in a series, and oh man, am I EXCITED about this one! The First Look provides such a good taste of the world, especially Renovia, and even Shadow's own personality. It's just enough to have me obsessed with this book, but at the same time not reveal too much of the main plot. The Queen's Assassin will certainly be a book to watch out for when it's released, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of Shadow and Cal and what they have to face together!
