Rating a 2.5-3
I can admit I out this in my dnf stack. Which I was not pleased with for awhile so I reattempted to read it after a couple months.
The first time round after receiving this I was extremely excited, the cover is so gorgeous and lyrical looking, and the synopsis is major intriguing. But the story itself I made a couple chapters and the writing style? I just was not following it too well or interested. So it sat in the nope pile.
However after seeing if it was just a mood reader issue (let’s be honest we all struggle sometimes with it),
I dived in for a second time.
And very much like the first time… I struggle bussed. The characters I didn’t connect too well with, they have depth to them but emotional wise just was meh.
The plot moved but snail paced with lot and lot of just info dump summaries to plod through.
I wanna say I might reread but honestly I highly doubt it.
