I enjoy the whole premise of living on a magical island surrounded by poisonous water that kills what it comes into contact with; having to sacrifice half the animals the inhabitants of the island hunt to nurture the Wandering Forest added more of a creepy depth to the atmospheric feel of the island.
Leelo seems like a strong and brave girl who I want to root for! Believing that all outsiders are a dangerous threat to her people and their forest for her whole life, but instead of killing one such outsider - instead hiding Jaren - seems like a weighty decision and I cant wait to see what comes of this decision!
