The cover is to die for! I've always been a fan of Charlie Bowater's artwork. I love the atmospheric vibes I'm getting from the cover itself. I can only imagine what the story would be like. I loved Mara Rutherford's other books and I just know this one will be a hit for all YA readers. I'm all for village, cottage type stories. The Poison Season feels like a cozy but creepy story you'd read while listening to Taylor Swift's Folklore/Evermore albums.
