beautiful cover, but i'm not sure it's my type of book

I was very intrigued by the cover of this book. It is so pretty and I am curious as to why there are foliage, berries, the girl, and the feather. After reading the first few paragraphs, I could kind of tell that I wouldn't be into this book as I am very picky with books and it really needs to peak my interest within the first few paragraphs.
