I have enjoyed all of Mara Rutherford's past books so I wanted to give this one a try. Right from the beginning it is giving me major "The Grace Year" vibes, kind of a creepy and ominous setting with an isolated village. I'm interested in the characters so far but there are a lot being introduced in the very beginning, so I was finding it a little hard to keep track. I'm looking forward to reading more!
