A poisonous lake and a bloodthirsty forest????

Wow! Endla sounds like an interesting and yet terrifying place! Terrifying if you have no magic and are an outsider. Leelo seems like a very good and kind character. Worried for her brother who has no magical powers. He's at risk of being turned away and never allowed to return. We only briefly got to meet Jaren, but I'm assuming he makes his way to Endla and that's where the story will really pick up. The Poison Season is written well, and I need to know how it ends!!
