There’s the hungry forest, the devouring lake, the isolated villagers, the magical singing, the girl who questions her elders, and the enchanted stranger. Leelo, 17, lives on the island of Endla, surrounded by a poisonous lake. Endlans sing their magic. When Leelo accidentally lures a stranger to her island with her singing, she must decide whether to let him drown or save him. I can’t wait to read this!
