This book was much-talked about and I couldn't wait to read it. A mystery unfolds as an unlikeable, hot-shot, know-it-all student writes a sure-fire best-seller but years later, his professor realizes it was never published. Turns out the student had died before he could publish his novel. The professor, a struggling writer himself, makes the choice to put his own name on it and publish it as his own.....this is where the excitement begins. As various plot twists and turns arise, the reader is kept guessing....just when you think you've figured it out. The story is very well planned out and written, with an easy to read writing style and relatable, well-developed and sometimes unlikable characters.
The story moves along at a good pace. The ending was a surprise that I never saw coming but in the end it fit together nicely and made perfect sense.
