The cover and title of the book is eye catching. This is what made me want to continue on to read the synopsis and the first two chapters! The synopsis makes this book sound promising. I am a huge fan of thrillers especially psychological ones which this book seems to be leading in that direction! I enjoy books that tell a story about a book and/or author which makes me think I will love reading this one. However, after reading the first two chapters I did feel like it started off a little slow, but I am still interested to see how the story progresses and ultimately what choices Jake makes throughout the book! I love the detail that was provided as well as the style of writing. The main character seems to be a complex one which also intrigued me. I am looking forward to finishing this book when it is released. Will be pre-ordering it as soon as possible!
