I loved this book so much. I am usually the type of reader who "figures it out" pretty quickly and then spend most of the book watching my predictions be affirmed, but that was so NOT TRUE with this one! I was captivated by the plot of this book (no pun intended!) until the very end. If you're looking for a book that is well thought out, full of twists and turns, and is not your run of the mill story-line, The Plot absolutely fits the bill.
There's something about a writer writing about an author that always captures my attentions, and the way that Jean Hanff Korelitz spins this tale about the main character Jake is simply mesmerizing.
I will say it took me a little bit to get into this at first, but once the story got going, I felt like I couldn't put this book down. I just had to know what was going to happen next! I am tempted to re-read this book again to see if I pick up anything I may have missed the first time, which is not something I do often.
