It’s hard to say, really. There is a huge information dump and I’m never a fan of those. Also, everything so far is very congested (and there are a lot of parenthesis). The plot seems very intriguing but I’m concerned about the lack of action and the possibility that if stays this sort of tone through the whole book, I’ll DNF. This may just be one of those books that takes a long while to get into before it takes you for a ride.
