A teacher once told me there are no new ideas left. I thought of that when reading this first look. Who owns a plot? Is a book really just about the inspiration of the main story? Or is it about all of the many steps it takes to write it down? And where do adaptations fit in that? The writing in this book seems amazing and thought provoking.
