I just adore books about books (two of my favorites being "The History of Love" and "The Shadow of the Wind"), and this one is about a washed up writer who is desperate to be famous but just can't seem to get another bestseller onto the page. The way Jake is written made me sympathetic right at the start. Knowing that he'll make the immoral decision to steal another person's work on their deathbed and that this book turns into a mystery/thriller is just PERFECT. I'm so ready for whatever ride this book takes me on.
